STORY
The film is a murder mystery.

“Wanted” is what the makers, call India’s first full western with all the best that goes in the name of entertainment. Mithun Chakraborty is a young man deeply in love with his wife Deepti Naval (who makes a special appearance). Mithun’s house is attacked. Deepti is killed and Mithun screams for revenge. He goes wild, turns into an outlaw and life finds a new meaning for him. He goes out to find the killers. On the way he meets Shammi Kapoor, a main in love with life and Tina Munim, who falls in love with him. He becomes a man who is wanted. Mithun wants the killers. What next? The film has been directed by Ambrish Sangal for producer Shyam Sunder Shivdasani. Bappi Lahiri scored the music.
